This is required, while tautilli/trackt/etc are not, but are nice integrations for after you get it working. The big misstep for me was not creating/linking my TMDB api key in the config. Once I had it running on my docker container I ended up running into issues getting the script to run in the docker/meisnate terminal. This summary does cover the important steps but there is more to learn about the config and setting up the folder structure/config ymls. I did, but it took a bit of internet sleuthing to piece all the info together. Plan on having a look later after my head stops spinning from getting this working. Not saying the OPs config files don't work.I just don't know why or what I may have done wrong with them. I ended up using the configs off this site - these seem to be working for me while I sit here and now see collections in Plex. I didn't have success with the OPs config.yml, tv.yml and or movie.yml. v /volume1/docker/plex-meta-manager:/config \ I've got it working on Synology with docker - I basically followed the guide at maruis inserting plex-meta-manager where ever they say overserr. Now if you followed everything, the script will run.keep in mind it will run daily at 3 am, this is just to kickstart things.there is many many ways to customize this some more, but for now lets stick with this Go to docker container for plex meta manager, double click.go to terminal.go to create."launch with command" and enter Note: the lines you see with "#" you need to remove the "#", the reason i have it is because i already ran the code once for these years and i dont to waste 30 mins to run everytime, i assume there is a better way to do it but imma n it once without the # then return the #ĩ- paste this into your tv.yml, this will give you trending shows, popular shows, and best new shows of 2021 Note: you might have seen in most guides the reference to - git: meisnate12/MovieCharts, ignore it because for some reason this git shit ruins my setup, just follow my steps if you are noob like meĨ- paste this into your movie.yml which will generate movies collections for all the oscars winning movies, best movies via RT for the years selected, trending movies, popular movies ![]() also remember to use the correct path names for your library Your done for docker, now for the fun stuff, open your config file with any text editor, there is many config files but i will give you what i useħ- paste this into your config.yml but replace all the xxxx with your own info for trakt just fill the first two boxes and the rest will be filled automatically. So, this is what you do and bare with me.i struggled until i got this to work.so, this guide will be done using dockerġ- before you touch docker, create a text 3 files in notepad titled (config.yml, movies.yml, tv.yml)Ģ- create a folder called plex meta manager whatever you likeĤ- download latest docker for plex meta managerĥ- to go to your docker and launch the container, go to advance settings, go to volume and select the plex meta manager folder you selected, then the box next to it type "/config/"Ħ- type in your PUID and PGID (i usually use 1000 for both but do you) and type your TZ Please go to the relevant subreddits and support forums, for example: Build help and build shares posts go in their respective megathreads No referral / affiliate links, personal voting / campaigning / funding, or selling posts Welcome to /r/Plex, a subreddit dedicated to Plex, the media server/client solution for enjoying your media! Are the makers of Westworld actually asking us to sympathize with robots rising up against humans? They sure are - and they're doing a bang-up job of it, too. Ed Harris' Man in Black is the most obvious one, a guest taking vile jollies in his freedom to mess with Hosts like Evan Rachel Wood's doe-eyed Southern belle Dolores and James Marsden's square-jawed gunslinger Teddy.Īs we watch the sympathetic Hosts take physical and emotional abuse from both Newcomers and the scientists who created them, it becomes clear that no one's a hero here - not the thoughtless humans, not the helpless robots, and most definitely not the cynical people who write the park's scripts and steer the Host/Newcomer interactions. ![]() The villains aren't as easy to spot in this new version. The 1973 movie was creepy and effective but a lark - this is darker and even more troubling. Thoughtful, twisty, and disturbing, this grim series digs into just what it means to be human and presents viewers with more questions than answers.
